Fireplace Instruction

Please make sure the damper to chimney is open so that smoke/gas can be vented out to chimney before using fireplace.

1. Plug in the power cord from fireplace on the left

2. Push down the knob to pilot, hold the knob while press the button on the right to light the pilot light, once light up , hold another 10-30 seconds until the pilot light won’t go off

3. Turn the knob to light up the fireplace

Firepits

There are one steel firepit on the backyard and one stone firepit on the side yard. Before using firepit, please check Wake County NC fire hazard level. If you have kids, please supervise your kids on firepit use. Afterward, please use water to extinguish any remaining fire.

Our landscaper regularly cut fallen branches and pile them along the pasture fence, please feel free to use, they are first come first serve. Most of the time, you can collect enough branches in the woods around the pond in the front. Nearby stores such as Publix, Homedepot, Lowes and Harris Teeter also sell firewood.
